Freshman Mason Gudger became the second Patriot League player to return two kickoffs for touchdowns in a game.
In the 59-28 loss to Penn, Gudger’s touchdowns were from 94 yards and 89 yards.
“We got off to a tough start but I was proud of how we responded and came back to make it a one-score game in the third quarter. There were some really good performances on both sides of the ball, including Mason Gudger with two kickoff return touchdowns. We are going to take the bye week to regroup as we prepare for Colgate and make sure we are ready for the second half of the season.” – Head Coach Rob Sgarlata
The Hoyas will take their bye week before heading up to Colgate for a noon matchup in Hamilton, N.Y. on October 22.
