Washington opened up the Commanders era with a 28-22 win over Jacksonville.

New quarterback, Carson Wentz, completed 27-41 for 313 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions.

In the fourth quarter, the Commanders were down 22-14 when Wentz led the comeback. It started with a 49 yard touchdown pass to Terry McLaurin when the speedy wide receiver blew back the Jacksonville defensive back.

Then with 1:46 left, Wentz would hit Jahan Dotson on a fade route for the game winner. It was Dotson’s second touchdown catch of the day.
