Georgetown basketball published their roster yesterday.
There are only a handful players back from last season and Patrick Ewing leveraged the Transfer Portal to remake the roster.
Unlike a lot of schools who search for seniors and graduate students in the Portal, Bryson Mozone is the only transfer that fall in that category.
Mozone averaged 15.8 points per game last season at USC Upstate. Undoubtedly, he’ll be asked to provide the Hoyas with three point shooting. He was slightly under 40% last season finishing the year at 38.6% from long distance.
Brandon Murray (LSU), Primo Spears (Duquesne), and Bradley Ezewiro (LSU) come in as sophomores. Out of the group, Murray is the most celebrated.
Akok Akok (UConn) and Jay Heath (Arizona State) are juniors.
Ewing and his staff will have the challenge of setting roles and expectations for the incoming players along with resetting roles of the returning players.
