PGA Tour gains court victory

The PGA Tour got a victory in court when a federal judge in California denied a temporary restraining order filed by LIV Golf members Talor Gooch, Matt Jones and Hudson Swafford.

Gooch, Jones, and Swafford filed for a temporary restraining order in hopes to be eligible for the FedEx Cup playoffs.

“We’re disappointed that Talor Gooch, Hudson Swafford and Matt Jones won’t be allowed to play golf. No one gains by banning golfers from playing,” LIV Golf said in a statement.

The FedEx playoffs start this weekend with the FedEx St. Jude Championship
