ODU brings in Jordan Brooks

ODU named Jordan Brooks as their Director of Recruiting.

Brooks held the same position at Xavier.

“We are very fortunate to have Jordan join our coaching staff. He is a young, energetic coach with a very bright future. His work ethic and ability to connect with people will have a positive impact on our Monarch program,” said head coach Jeff Jones.

Prior to Xavier, Brooks had stints at Southeastern Louisiana and Howard.

He was instrumental in recruiting R.J. Cole to Howard. Cole was named MEAC Rookie of the Year and MEAC Player of the Year honors during his career. Brooks also recruited and helped develop All-Conference players Chad Lott and Charles Williams.

“I am really excited about having the opportunity to work and learn from Coach Jeff Jones here at ODU. The program here has a lot of history and tradition and I am happy to be a part of it,” Brooks said. “I can’t wait to get to work and join an unbelievable staff of a great program, but to also help and develop the young men here on and off the court.”
