The PGA season is winding down and as players fail to qualify to the next event of the playoffs, fields will start getting smaller.
This week is the first week of the FedEx playoffs and you know players will be dialed in. Players who are on the bubble of qualifying for the next event will definitely be focused and taking risks they might not normally do so keep that in mind if you’re betting by the round.
My pre-event picks goes as follows:
Matthew Fitzpatrick Top Five (+350) and Top Ten (+170) – Fitzpatrick has three Top 10s in his last four tournaments.
Sungjae Im Top 10 (+240) – Last week, Im was a popular pick and I ignored it and he turned in a solid performance. I definitely won’t be ignoring him this week.
Corey Conners Top 10 (+400) – Conners is a legitimate longshot to win the tournament at +5000. He might not be the hottest golfer coming in but this is the perfect opportunity to be in legitimate contention going into Sunday.
