Seton Hall transfer, Jahari Long, has signed on to play at Maryland.
Long played for Maryland head coach Kevin Willard at Seton Hall.
“Coach Willard knows my history and I appreciate him welcoming me to the team at Maryland,” said Long. “He has pushed me to improve and stayed loyal to me over the years and I appreciate that. Now, I’m ready to show the Terp fans my skills as a guard and help this team win.”
Long appeared in five games before an injury cut his season short.
“Jahari is a great kid and will add a lot to our team here at Maryland,” said Willard. “He has exceptional ball-handling skills and passes the ball at an elite level. He’s an unselfish player who will look to create for his teammates. He can also score the ball when the opportunities arise and be a force on the defensive end. We are happy to welcome him to Maryland
