American University Men’s Basketball announced the hiring of Sam Roditti as assistant coach.
Roditti spent four years with the program in the role of director of operations.
“Including his four years as manager, he has given everything he has to this program,” said head coach Mike Brennan. “He has spent time both recruiting and coaching and has earned this opportunity.”
Roditti will fill the vacancy left by Dallas Cameron. Cameron took at Stephen F. Austin.
Roditti served as a team manager during his undergraduate years from 2013-17.
“As an alumnus of AU, I have a lot of pride and passion for the program,” said Roditti. “Between the athletics department staff, coaching staff and players, I know we have the pieces in place to be successful here in the coming years. I’m excited about the opportunity to continue to be a part of that.”
