The Circuit kicked off day one with two signature teams playing beside each other.
On one court, Team Trae Young 3SSB (OK) took on New England Storm (MA). Team Trae Young raced out to an early double-digit lead but New England Storm stayed close behind their cut and move offense that produced open threes.
Coming out of halftime with only a four point lead woke up Team Trae Young. They would push the lead up above 20 before New England Storm, once again, made a comeback but they could not get it under double-digits.
Team Trae Young would open with a 70-57 win. They were led by Kaden Cooper’s 23 points. Ja’Kobe Walter chipped in with 17.
On the other court, Team Thad EYBL (TN) was taking care of business in front of a standing room crowd only environment. Max Levels Elite (TX) stayed close for the first few minutes before wilting under Team Thad’s pace, shooting, and, of course, highlight dunks.
Josh Hubbard (Team Thad EYBL) led five players in double-figures with 18.
