We haven’t done a Picks and Props segment with golf so here we go!!!
Who will finish top 5?
The safe picks are Scottie Scheffler (+200), Justin Thomas (+250) and Dustin Johnson (+400). All would be picks that no one would argue with. I like Jordan Spieth (+450) as a solid bet. If you’re looking for a long shot, Jhonattan Vegas comes at a robust +800.
For those not feeling comfortable with the top 5 play there is a top 10 category at lower odds.
Top Australian
To no one’s surprise, Jason Day is the favorite here. He comes in at a +190 and is a popular pick. I like Marc Leishman (+240). Great odds and the course sets up well for him. Other options: Adam Scott (+225), Cameron Percy (+1000), and Brett Drewitt (+1800).
Cut Specials
We will finish up with a Cut Special. This can always be tricky as there is always a head scratcher or two late on Friday when you see who is playing the weekend and who isn’t.
This is one I will take the safe option. Schauffele, Spieth, and D Johnson all make the cut. The odds on that one is +130.
