This week, Georgetown announced the arrival of a player out of the transfer portal and the loss of two players to the transfer portal.
The Hoyas will have explosive freshman, Primo Spears.
Spears spent his freshman year at Duquesne where he became only the fifth freshman in school history to lead the team in scoring (12.7 ppg).
“Primo Spears is another integral piece to our team next season. He is a proven scorer but in addition to that, he gives us another physical defensive-minded guard who can make the right passes,” said head coach Patrick Ewing.
Spears joins fellow transfers Brandon Murray and Wayne Bristol Jr.
Georgetown also announced that Collin Holloway and Donald Carey have entered the portal.
