The Pelicans have benefited tremendously from the CJ McCollum trade. That was on full display in their 113-103 win over the San Antonio Spurs. McCollum put the Spurs on their heels by scoring 27 of his 32 points in the first half.
The Clippers are coming off losing a 4th quarter lead to the TWolves in their 109-104 loss in Minnesota.
Key for the Pelicans:
Against the Spurs, Brandon Ingram played like his press clippings coming out of Duke. Ingram finished with 27 points on 11-19 shooting
Key for the Clippers:
Can they find a way to rebound from the loss to Minnesota. They forced Karl Anthony Towns to one of his worse games while Paul George looked like the good Playoff P scoring 34 points. With all that they still couldn’t win.
