Fatts Russell and Eric Ayala earned Big Ten Honorable Mention honors.
In his first year as a Terp, Russell has been electrifying at times. Finishing the regular season averaging 14.9 points and 3.6 assists per game.
This was the second time Ayala has earned Big Ten conference honors. He was Honorable Mention last season also.
Ayala is second on the Terps with 14.6 points per game. He leads the teams with 72 3-pointers. His 72 makes from beyond the arc are the seventh-most in Maryland single-season history, while his 221 career 3’s rank third in program.
