The 2002 Maryland National Championship winning team returned to College Park to be honored today 20 years after winning the title.
With all the champions in the house, the 2021-2022 version of the Terps channeled all the energy in the building in the 75-60 win over 22nd ranked Ohio State.
Fatts Russell scored 27 points and Eric Ayala poured in 23 as the Terps would lead by as much as 18 in the second half.
The Terps jumped out to a quick 8-0 lead as they controlled much of the first half. The Buckeyes only lead came at 14-12 with 12:25 left in the first half.
