Boxing: Taylor-Catterall Weigh-In

Josh Taylor will step into the ring with all the Junior Welterweight belts on Saturday night.

Taylor will be the hometown favorite.

“Glasgow, the people of Glasgow, the people of Scotland, it’s been my home since the Commonwealth Games,” said Taylor

Taylor (18-0, 13 KOs) expects to be at the top of his game when he gets in the ring with Jack Catterall.

“I can’t wait to get in there and put on a real top performance Saturday,” said Taylor. “A real homecoming, first time I’ve been here in a couple of years now.”

Catterall (26-0, 13 KOs) knows to defeat Taylor, he’ll have to be prepared for a long evening.

“I’m preparing for a hard fight, a long fight, a tough fight. I can’t go into detail on the specifics of what we’re planning on doing in the fight, but I’ve certainly prepared for anything and everything.”
