There are a ton of “he’s no ordinary Joe” every time Joe Smith Jr. fights. In his ninth round TKO of Steven Geffrard, he resembled the remark.
Smith Jr. was never threatened in the fight. Per CompuBox, Smith out-landed the Geffrard 233-81. Smith Jr’s accuracy was on full display as he connected on 59.1% of his power shots.
Geffrard was an 11th hour replacement for Callum Johnson.
Johnson had to withdraw when he tested positive for Covid-19.
