Lomachenko Dominates Commey

Even thought that Vasiliy Lomachenko was taking a step backwards after the loss to Teofimo Lopez has disappeared.

Lomachenko followed his impressive win over Masayoshi Nakatani with a dominant win over Richard Commey.

The official scorecards had it 119-108, 119-108, and 117-110. The Making The Cut scorecard had the fight 120-107.

Lomachenko was in control from the beginning, scoring a knockdown in the 7th round. Twice during the round, Lomachenko motioned to Commey’s corner to stop the fight.

“I saw his situation. It was very hard for him,” Lomachenko said. “That’s why I said, ‘Hey, stop the fight.’ He is a true warrior. He has a big heart and we continue and we show {the} people 12 great rounds.”

In the main undercard, American heavyweight, Jared “Real Big Baby” Anderson (11-0-0) continued to mow through the competition with a second round knockout win over Oleksandr Teslenko (17-2, 13 KOs).

Keyshawn Davis and Nico Ali Walsh also registered wins.
