Mason Falls Short Against Washington

For the second straight game, George Mason had a game come down to the end but couldn’t get over the hump as they lost to Washington 77-74.

The Patriots were led by Josh Oduro’s 21 points and 9 rebounds. Devon Cooper had 21 on 7-12 shooting (5-9 from the 3 point line).

Once again, George Mason was undone by turnovers. After committing 21 against James Madison, the Patriots had 14 tonight which led to 18 points for the Huskies.

Head coach Kim English addressed his concern about the turnovers. “It is becoming on Achilles heel.”
