Maryland (3-1) will have an opportunity to bounce back from their only loss so far this season when they face Hofstra tonight.
The Terps are coming off a 71-66 loss to George Mason. After the loss, head coach Mark Turgeon said “we’re nowhere near where we’re going to be until we learn how to share the ball a little bit better, pass better and make better decision.”
Donta Scott had 18 points and 10 rebounds in the loss. Eric Ayala chipped in with 17 points including back to back three pointers that drew Maryland to within one down the stretch.
Hofstra (1-2) is coming off an 82-74 loss to Iona. They split their first two games losing at Houston in overtime and winning at Duquesne.
The Pride’s visit to College Park is their fourth of five straight road games to start the season.
