The College Athletic Association had two players make the Lou Henson Award Watch List. The award is given to the nation’s top mid-major player.
Hofstra’s Jalen Ray and Drexel’s Camren Wynter were selected to the preseason watch list.
Ray was named preseason first-team All-CAA. He was named first-team All-CAA selection in 2020-21. Ray ranked second in the league in scoring at 19.3 points per game, third in steals, and first in made threes.
Wynter is the CAA Preseason Player of the Year entering 2021-22. He was fifth in the CAA in scoring a year ago and ranked second in assists. He also earned first-team All-CAA honors and helped lead the Dragons to their first CAA title.
