Jose Zepeda will meet Josue Vargas on Saturday night at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden.
Zepeda is riding a five fight winning streak including being part of the 2020 Fight of the Year when he knocked out Ivan Baranchyk. The bout included 8 knockdowns.
Zepeda’s last loss came to the hands of Jose Ramirez in a WBC World Championship bout. Ramirez no longer possesses the belt but with a win over Vargas, Zepeda hopes to get a rematch with Ramirez.
