Georgetown has cancelled Saturday’s season opener against Marist. The game was scheduled for 12:30 at Cooper Field.
The Hoyas had a Covid pause leading up to the regular season.
“We decided out of an abundance of caution to cancel this week’s game and turn our focus to preparing for our next game on September 11 at Delaware State,” said Lee Reed, the Francis X. Rienzo Director of Intercollegiate Athletics.
