VCU’s Vice President and Director of Athletics Ed McLaughlin announced that men’s head basketball coach, Mike Rhoades, has been given a two-year extension.
“We have an exciting, talented team with a bright future, and we want to make sure Coach Rhoades leads our program for years to come,” McLaughlin said.
Rhoades has amassed an 80-43 at VCU along with two tournament births (2019 and 2021) and an Atlantic 10 regular season title (2019).
