The Washington Wizards have hired Wes Unseld Jr. as it’s next head coach.
Unseld Jr. is the son of Hall of Fame, Washington Bullets great Wes Unseld.

Scott Brooks had guided the Wizards to three playoff appearances in five years including this past season where they lost to the Philadelphia 76ers four games to one.
Unseld Jr. spent six seasons as a Wizards assistant from 2005-2011. He had stops at Golden State and Orlando before going to Denver where he was associate head coach after spending five seasons as an assistant.
