Marquette announced that former Maryland Terp, Darryl Morsell has transferred to the Big East school.
Last season, Morsell was Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year. He is one of just 16 players in program history with 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 100 starts.
“We are extremely excited about Darryl joining our program,” head coach Shaka Smart said.
Morsell averaged 9.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game in 30 appearances and shot 48.6 percent from the floor.
