Only time will tell how Maker’s decision to attend an HBCU will impact recruiting in the future. He certainly didn’t make the impact that Howard and other HBCU’s were hoping he would.
Makur spent a good chunk of the season dealing with a groin injury. He finished averaging 11.5 points and 6 rebounds per game.
