NBA News: Knicks Sign Vildoza

The Knicks are trying to capitalize off their on-court success with a shrewd move off the court.

New York had a roster spot and cap space so they signed Luca Vildoza (Baskonia) of the Spanish ACB League. There’s little doubt that the 25 year old guard would’ve been a hot commodity once NBA free agency started.

Vildoza, was the MVP of the 2020 Spanish ACB finals and is a member of Argentina’s national team.

There’s no timetable for Vildoza to join the club.

Harden’s Return

James Harden said he’s “very confident” that he will be available for the playoffs. Harden has been out for about a month.

Harden won’t play in tonight’s game against Dallas but he’s traveling with the team.

In other news out of Brooklyn, Kyrie Irving was fined $35,000 for not talking to the media. Historically, Irving has had an on-again-off-again relationship with the media.
