NFL Week 15 Picks

Making the Cut Picks for Week 15

Chicago Bears +3 at Minnesota Vikings

The winner of this game will hold on to the hopes of a playoff spot. With the Cardinals teetering the winner could jump into the 7th and final NFC playoff spot.

This sets up for a Kirk Cousins big game special. If the Bears defense doesn’t keep constant pressure on Cousins, he’ll pick them apart. Then there’s a guy name Dalvin Cook. I’ve heard that he’s pretty darn good.

Pick: Minnesota -3

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-6.5) at Atlanta Falcons

The Bucs had a lot of offseason hype… maybe too much. Every week was turning out to be an unnecessary evaluation of Tom Brady. Now that the Bucs have settled into a wild-card spot, they’ll have to find a way to hold off the Arizona Cardinals with both Minnesota and Chicago lurking.

Bucs running back Ronald Jones is out but Leonard Fournette isn’t a bad back up to have. There’s no doubt that Tampa should win this game but there is some concern around the 6.5 number.

It’s hard to put a finger on how motivated the Falcons are or aren’t.

Pick: Tampa Bay -6.5

Seattle Seahawks -6.5 at Washington Football Team

Washington finds themselves in first place in the NFC East. With Alex Smith out, Dwayne Haskins has another opportunity to prove that’s he’s an NFL quarterback but this is a difficult spot.

Despite getting all the snaps this week, Seattle will pose some issues for Haskins. They will crowd the line of scrimmage and with Antonio Gibson out, if Washington doesn’t make games in the running game, it could be a long day.

Accuracy on the short-to-medium range passes will be key for the second-year quarterback against a Seattle team that is competing to win the division.

Pick: Seattle -6.5
