VCU has never been shy about scheduling a challenging non-conference schedule. This season is no different. The Rams have non-conference games at Tennessee, Penn State and LSU.
VCU will open the 2020-21 campaign against Charlotte on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 26, at Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tenn. The Rams will take on host Tennessee on Nov. 27. The Volunteers are ranked No. 12 in the Associated Press’ Preseason Top 25 Poll.
VCU will welcome Mount St. Mary’s, North Carolina A&T, Old Dominion, Western Carolina and Louisiana to Siegel Center.
Siegel Center Capacity
VCU will welcome 250 fans per game. This number could change as the state adjusts it’s Covid-19 guidance.
New Rams
The Rams welcome six newcomers, including transfers Brendan Medley-Bacon (Baltimore, Md.) and Levi Stockard III (St. Louis, Mo.) from Coppin State and Kansas State, respectively. The Rams return a number of regulars, including A-10 All-Rookie selection Nah’Shon “Bones” Hyland (Wilmington, Del.), who was named to the league’s preseason Third Team Tuesday.
