The Charlo twins highlighted Showtime’s title bout heavy pay-pew-view card.
Jermall Charlo and Sergiy Derevyanchenko got the duel Charlo brothers main events started in style. Jermall scored a hard fought unanimous decision over Derevyanchenko. “I stayed poised, I stayed composed and I executed the game plan. I was staying behind the jab, I got away from it a little, but Ronnie got me back. I wanted to knock him out but dominating like I did was a big statement,” said Charlo.
The official scorecards had Charlo winning 116-112, 117-111 and 118-110. Making the Cut’s scored it 117-111 for Charlo.

Twin brother Jermell took on tough fighting Jeison Rosario. Charlo scored three knockdowns. First came late in the first round followed by another one in the sixth round. Charlo would end the fight on the body shot that put Rosario on the canvas for the count.

Earlier in the night, Brandon Figueroa retained his WBA Super Bantamweight belt with a 10th round TKO victory over Damien Vazquez.
“This shows that I can fight under pressure, I’m strong and I give exciting fights,” said Figueroa.
