NBA Day Five Picks

Yesterday was our first losing day but we’ll going to put that past us.

Indiana Pacers -7.5 vs Washington Wizards

Both teams are getting what they want out of this. The Pacers are competing for playoff seeding and the Wizards are getting their young guys experience.

Indiana -7.5

Toronto Raptors -3.5 vs Miami Heat

Toronto has been one of the most impressive teams in the bubble. The Heat haven’t been bad themselves. Both teams love to defend and, on paper, you would rather have the Raps offense. But, you have to ask is today the day they lay a little bit of an egg.

Toronto -3.5

Denver Nuggets +6 vs Oklahoma City Thunder

Denver is banged up in the bubble and there’s no reason for them to rush Jamal Murray, Gary Harris, and Will Barton back.

Chris Paul has earned a measure of respect on top of what he had earned as a first ballot Hall-of-Famer.

Denver +6

Memphis Grizzlies +4.5 vs New Orleans Pelicans

New Orleans is ready to breakout after the beat down they got from the Clippers.

New Orleans -4.5

San Antonio Spurs +7 vs Philadelphia 76ers

San Antonio scored a good win over the Kings but will be short-lived. Philadelphia needs a win and needs one bad. The question is … by how much?

San Antonio +7

Los Angeles Lakers -6.5 vs Utah Jazz

The Lakers didn’t cover in their first two games and this line seems too big but it’s the thought that they will eventually bust out. With Rudy Gobert busting out, can LA bust out against Utah?

Utah +6.5
