NBA Day Four Picks

We’re off to an 8-5 start in the first three days of the NBA’s reboot. Probably the most disappointing loss was Philadelphia (-5.5) allowing TJ Warren to go all Alex English on them.

The first two days of the NBA Restart has seen some really good games and some excellent picks by your’s truly.

Washington Wizards +3 vs Brooklyn Nets

The classic match up of a below average team that can score against an average team that can defend. Brooklyn can win this if they force the Wizards to turn the ball over.

Brooklyn -3

Portland Trail Blazers +4.5 vs Boston Celtics

Portland stays in their “must win” mode if they want to have a chance to get to the eighth spot. The Celtics dropped a close one to Milwaukee but to be fair, Kemba Walker is on minutes restriction and Boston was on the bad side of a couple of close calls down the stretch.

Portland +4.5

San Antonio Spurs +4.5 vs Memphis Grizzlies

Memphis looked good in their loss to Portland while the Spurs picked up a much needed win against the Sacramento Kings. Memphis just has too many pieces for the Spurs.

Memphis -4.5

Sacramento Kings +2.5 vs Orlando Magic

This is one of the toughest games on the board. When you first look at the line, it screams Orlando but that has a feel of fool’s gold. Buddy Hield will rebound from his 2-13 shooting performance and Fox will have another stellar game.

Sacramento +2.5

Milwaukee Bucks -4.5 vs Houston Rockets

How Houston cover Giannis Antetokounmpo will be key. Once again, it doesn’t look like the Rockets are interested in playing good team defense. Mike D’Antoni’s offense can depend on outscoring everyone.

Milwaukee +4.5

Dallas Mavericks -6 vs Phoenix Suns

Dallas is coming off an overtime loss to the Houston Rockets but today should garner a win. Phoenix will placate the Mavs when it comes to pace.

Dallas -6
