For the first time, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame will host a triple-header college basketball event.
The inaugural Basketball Hall of Fame Shootout will be played at Charlotte’s Spectrum Center on November 13th.
The one-day event will pit Virginia vs Temple, Virginia Tech vs Davidson and East Carolina vs Liberty. “We are excited to play Temple in the Hall of Fame shootout,” said Virginia head coach Tony Bennett.
For Atlantic 10 member, Davidson it’s another opportunity to play an ACC opponent in their backyard. Bob McKillop looks forward to seeing the Hokies so close to home. “Play an ACC team in a world-class arena in the magnificent city of Charlotte makes it even more special.”
