Maryland got a boost to their football program that’s usually reserved for their basketball program.
Alabama transfer quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa announced that he’ll be transferring to the University of Maryland.
Last season, Tagovailoa completed 9 of 12 passes for 100 yards and a touchdown in five games. Tagovailoa has three years of eligibility left and plans on applying for a waiver with the NCAA.

Maryland had two quarterbacks left on their roster, Lance LeGendre and Josh Jackson. Max Bortenschlager and Tyrrell Pigrome entered the transfer portal earlier this year.
