Sa’eed Nelson capped off his final regular season week by being named Patriot League Player of the Week.
Nelson led American to victories over Lafayette (79-59) and Holy Cross (90-47). The Eagles clinched the No. 2 seed in the Patriot League Tournament.
Nelson’s 30 points against Lafayette moved him to the school’s career scoring leader. His 2,085 points is third in Patriot League history.
