American University’s super senior, Sa’eed Nelson is closing in on the school’s all-time scoring list.
Nelson scored 20 points in a victory over Navy. He has 2,034 career points and needs just 23 more to pass Russell “Boo” Bowers. “This only comes around once in a lifetime, said Nelson. I just take it day-by-day and enjoy it. while at the same time, just keep playing my game.”

He’s currently the only active D-I men’s basketball to reach 2,000 points, 500 rebounds, and 500 steals.
