This season the “Through the Uprights” column will have a weekday and weekend edition. This will allow us to get the latest lines.
The weekday record will be kept separate than the weekend record and we are going to add an NFL edition.
So… lets get this started.
Picks:
UCLA +3 at Cincinnati (Thursday)
The Bruins are looking to improve in year two of Chip Kelly. Look for UCLA to be better on offense in year two. They won’t be a Pac-12 title contender but they’ll be much better than last year’s 3-9 record.
Pick: UCLA +3
Utah -6.5 at BYU (Thursday)
This is one of the most underrated rivalries in college football. Part of it is because it’s being played so early in the season but if you’re by a TV, this is a much watch.
The Utes are the Pac-12 favorites and we’ll find out if they’re worthy on this on Thursday. Look for the game to stay close throughout but a late score will be the difference against the line.
Pick: Utah -6.5
