DMV Hoopin’: Go-Go Report

With a little more than a month left in the regular season, the Capital City Go-Go 5th in the NBA G-League Eastern Conference.

Notes:

  • Chris Chiozza will be playing for Team USA in the FIBA World Cup. Chiozza has been the glue for the Go-Go as players like Jordan McRae, Chasson Randle, and Troy Brown Jr. have moved back and forth between the Go-Go and Washington Wizards. Chiozza has averaged 13.1 and 6.8 assists a game.
  • With Chiozza heading to the FIBA World Cup, the Go-Go acquired Michael Orris via the player pool. Orris has played with Agua Caliente Clippers and Fort Wayne Mad Ants. He played at three different colleges: Kansas State, Northern Illinois, and South Dakota State.
  • The Go-Go made a trade with the Long Island Nets. The Go-Go traded the rights to Will Davis for a second and third round pick.
  • Another trade was made by the Go-Go this week. They acquired Dikembe Dixson and a third round pick in exhange for Tiwian Kendley and a fourth round pick. Dixson averaged 3 points a game while Kendley averaged 11.7 points per game but has been out since January.
