It’s been a busy weekend as the Capital City Go-Go get prepared for their inaugural season.
It all got started with the NBA G-League Draft. GM Pops Mensah-Bonsu was busy. After drafting Noah Allen and Devon Burket with their first two picks, the Go-Go got into the trading game.
In a three-team deal the Go-Go received Darel Poirier from the Canton Charge, in exchange for the Go-Go’s 2019 first round draft pick and Westchester’s 54thoverall pick of Freddie McSwain. The Go-Go also received the Knicks’ Chris Wray, in exchange for the returning rights of Alex Davis.
The organization also announced its camp dates and roster. Camp will open on Monday, October 22nd.
