George Mason announced that they’ve extended Men’s Basketball Head Coach, Dave Paulsen, through the 2021-2022 season.
“It’s a privilege to extend Dave’s contract for another season,” (Brad) Edwards said. “In just two years, he’s built a program of high character student-athletes, a staff that fosters personal development both academically and socially, and a team that’s been recognized as one of the most improved on the court.”
Paulsen took over a 10 win team and in two seasons had to program reach the 2o win mark. Adding to his challenge, he took over the program as they were switching to the Atlantic 10 Conference. The upgrade in conference along with the 20 win season made the extension a no brainer for the University.
