Georgetown opened their season a week after most teams but it was well worth it. The Hoyas travelled to Campbell and came away with a 16-10 victory.
With the game tied at 10, Jelani Williamson recovered a fumble and returned it 32 yards for the touchdown.
Co-captain David Akere sealed the win with an interception on Campbell’s final drive. The interception capped off a big game for Akere who was second on the team with 10 tackles.
