George Mason announced their schedule for the 2017 Cancun Challenge.
The Patriots will host the first two games of the Challenge before heading to Cancun.
On November 16th, George Mason will host Binghamton followed by a home date on the 18th against Cal State Northridge. CSNU is coached by former NBA player, Reggie Theus.
After the openers, Mason will travel to Cancun where they’ll play Louisiana Tech. The Bulldogs will have a couple of faces familiar to the Mason family. Both Head coach Eric Konkol and Assistant coach Tony Skinn have Mason ties. Konkol was an assistant for the Patriots from 2002-2005 and Skinn was a member of the 2006 Final Four team.
Depending on the result, their next opponent will be either Fresno State or Evansville.
