VCU signed guard Tyler Maye (Farmvilly, NC/Farmville Central). The explosive guard 6-foot-2 guard averaged 36 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assist a game. VCU beat out Nebraska, Kansas State, Dayton, and East Carolina for Maye.
“Our team and staff are excited to welcome Tyler to our family,” (Coach Mike) Rhoades said. “He’s a gym rat who plays fast with very good skill. He makes plays on both ends of the court. We can’t wait to get him and his classmates on campus soon to get to work.”
VCU will add six new players to the program.
