George Mason Lands UVA Transfer Jarred Reuter

Several outlets have reported that Jarred Reuter is transferring from UVA to George Mason. He will be eligible to play in 2018-2019.

Coach Dave Paulsen spoke about the value Reuter brings to the program.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jarred to our Mason family,” Paulsen said. “From my first conversation with Jarred, it was apparent to me that he was exactly the type of person – in addition to being a terrific player – that we want in our program.  Jarred will bring maturity, toughness, experience, and a very high basketball IQ to our team.”

This has been a solid offseason for George Mason coach, Dave Paulsen. The Patriots have a very impressive recruiting class coming in along with a solid core of young returning players.

Last season Reuter averaged 3.8 points per game along with grabbing 2.2 rebounds. His best game was a 14 point, 9 rebound performance in UVA’s 74-41 win over Iowa.
