United States Army veteran, Darnell Pierce, will face Luther Smith in a 6-round co-feature bout in Fort Washington, Maryland. Pierce is 5-0 and used to facing top notch competition. “I was in camp with Oleksandr Usyk and this camp has been spent with Travis Kauffman and Steve Cunningham” said Pierce. Usyk is the WBO Cruiserweight champion.
Pierce will be fighting in Smith’s hometown but this doesn’t seem to bother him. “I know he will have the fans there but that doesn’t bother. I am not fighting for his fans.”
The main event is Mykal Fox vs Tre-Sean Wiggins.
