VCU and Richmond are the last undefeated teams in the Atlantic 10 but both have tough games this weekend. The Rams travel to Davidson who will be motivated and in need of a conference win while Richmond heads to St Joes.
VCU has an 8 game winning streak, 4 in the conference, going into the weekend. Their next two games are on the road at Davidson and Fordham. The Wildcats have struggled of late having lost 3 of their last 4. A home date against VCU will ensure a raucous crowd which could be just what the doctor ordered.
Richmond is on a heater themselves. The Spiders have won 4 in a row and, like VCU, head on a two game road trip. Not only are they traveling to St. Joes and Dayton who has Charles Cooke back in the lineup.
Player of the Week: Scoochie Smith (Dayton)
Rookie of the Week: De’Monte Buckingham (Richmond)
