To no one’s surprise, Louisville was name the FWAA National Team of the Week. The Cardinals easily handled then second ranked, Florida State, 63-20.
Louisville was led by their Heisman candidate quarterback, Lamar Jackson. Jackson threw for 216 yards, rushed for 146 and scored a combined 5 touchdowns.
