Pac 12 Tournament Picks

Stanford (+2) vs Washington

Both Stanford and Washington come into the Pac 12 tournament needing to find themselves. The Huskies have lost 6 of their last 8 games but one of their wins was an 11 point victory over Stanford. The Huskies are led by Andrew Andrews (no that’s not a misprint) and his 21.2 ppg. In their last meeting, Andrews had a knee strain and ended the game with 8 points.

Stanford comes in on a two game losing streak as they lost both road games on their Arizona swing. They are 4-7 in their last 11. This is one of those games where you don’t concentrate on the line but simply look at who you think will win.

Washington -2

Washington St. (+9.5) vs Colorado

The Cougars are 1-17 and came in last in the Pac 12 conference but their two meetings with Colorado were competitive. The Buffaloes was the first game by 5 and the second game in OT. The results of those two games definitely played a part in the spread being under double digits (barely). You lean will depend on what your betting style is. If you’re looking to take points you can look at the first two games and say Washington St. matches up well, stylistically, with Colorado. If you’re looking to give points, you can say Washington St. is ready for the season to be over and the Buffaloes are head and shoulders the better team so the third meeting won’t be as close as the first two.

Colorado -9.5

UCLA (+3) vs USC

The Battle for LA moves to Las Vegas. Both teams have lost 4 of their last 5. The Trojans won both match ups this season by an average of 16.5 points but both games were played relatively early in the Pac 12 schedule. Neither team is playing particularly well which is why on a normal day,  I wouldn’t even consider the line at all but for entertainment purposes I’ll use the “due” theory and go with UCLA.

UCLA +3

Arizona St (+3) vs Oregon St

In their only meeting this season, Arizona St. pounded the Beavers by 18 points at home. This shouldn’t play a huge factor in today’s neutral court tilt. It’s your typical story of two teams going in the opposite direction.  Oregon St. is 6-4 ATS and SU in their last 10 while Arizona St. has gone 5-5 ATS and 3-7 SU. The lean is with the hotter team.

Oregon St. -3
