Paralympics Update: August 31st

Nick Mayhugh won a silver medal in the men’s 400m T37. Mayhugh’s impressive performance trailed only a world-record time of 49.34 from Russia’s Andrei Vdovin.

Joshua Cinnamo won the bronze medal with a throw of 15.90 meters in the men’s shot put F46.

Breanna Clark lowered her own world record time with a gold-medal performance of 55.18 seconds in the women’s 400m T20.

Sam Grewe won the gold medal in the men’s high jump T63 with a 1.88 mark.

Brittni Mason won the silver medal in the women’s 100m T47. Teammate Deja Young won the bronze.

Kym Crosby won the bronze medal in the women’s 100m T13.

Mikaela Jenkins won gold in the women’s 100m butterfly S10 after clocking in at 1:07.52.

Team USA dominated the women’s 400m freestyle S8 as Morgan Stickney won gold and teammate Jessica Long won the silver medal.

Matthew Torres won bronze in the men’s 400m freestyle S8 (4:28.47).

Roderick Townsend added a silver medal to his collection after recording a 7.43 mark in the men’s long jump T46/47.
