George Mason announced that Dennis Felton has joined the staff as an associate head coach.
“Dennis is passionate, high-energy, successful and motivated. Those traits will make him an exceptional addition to our staff here at George Mason,” said head coach Kim English.
Felton has been an assistant coach at Fordham before accepting the job at George Mason. “Being from the DMV, I’ve always had a genuine respect for this University and the potential of the basketball program,” said Felton.
English is a first time coach so having a veteran coach with head coaching experience was a must. Felton has 13 years of coaching experience at Cleveland State, Houston, and Western Kentucky. His teams made the NCAA tournament four times.
